Chapters
Chapters in North Carolina are as varied as the membership and the focus of each chapter is determined by its members. Some meet once each month to conduct business and plan and organize activities; others conduct business online and meet socially several times a year.
All chapters in North Carolina (known as the State Council) come together once a quarter to share information and fun. The Annual State Convention of ESA is held the second calendar quarter and all members are invited. This is the state’s only multi-day event (Friday night and Saturday).
Collegiate chapters are located on the campuses of East Carolina University in Greenville, Elon University in Elon, NC, Belmont Abbey in Belmont, NC, and UNC Pembroke in Pembroke, NC. These chapters are primarily service organizations.
Members at large, who are not affiliated with a local chapter, are welcome in North Carolina ESA and encouraged to take advantage of programs offered by the state council as well as maintaining ESA friendships.
